The Hidden Gardens of Beacon Hill

black_swan_garden_02

Okay, so these aren’t MY gardens, but I wanted to share them anyway. The Beacon Hill Garden Club does a garden tour every May, which I believe is their big annual fundraiser. Amazingly, I’d not heard of it until this year, so I took the day off to go check it out. I don’t spend much time in Beacon Hill, so it was fun to wander around there a bit (though I always forget exactly how steep some of those hills are!). As per usual, I took about nine million pictures. Despite it being windy, most of my macro shots came out pretty well. I went through the roughly 200 pictures (yeah, I know), and narrowed it down to the best shots, which are up on Flickr. Enjoy!
